Yeah, that was fun for a first call. This lady was at a government site, on a government computer, with government-specific settings, and she forced me to troubleshoot why she couldn't get to one of our sites.

I went through all the standard stuff and then suggested she'd probably be better off talking to someone locally as it seemed to be a problem with just about all secure sites she was accessing.

She wouldn't give up.

"So you are saying that there is NOTHING ANYONE at your company can do to help me."

"No, I'm saying that it might be more productive for you to--"

"I WANT TO HEAR YOU SAY IT! I WANT TO HEAR YOU SAY THERE IS NOTHING YOU PEOPLE CAN DO!"

Unwilling to make that kind of commitment to someone who had been harassing me for half an hour and was becoming verbally abusive, I offered to transfer her to a remote access agent (she was using remote access and wasn't part of my division, which meant I shouldn't have gotten the call at all).

I transferred her right away.

Know what, bitch? I don't give a flying fuck what you WANT TO HEAR ME SAY.

You're not going to get it with that kind of attitude.

And you are REALLY not going to be able to make me care.
