What on Earth is up with people?

Why do so many people call me insisting their computers will not turn off no matter WHAT is done to them?

People, your computer is NOT possessed. If you can't turn it off with the power button, TRY UNPLUGGING IT. And if it's a portable, remove the battery!

I guarantee you that computer will turn off.

And if it doesn't, you don't need tech support, you need a priest.

Nobody ever thinks of that.
