It's OK if you call the helpdesk and don't know anything about computers, but please try to avoid being a complete and total idiot.

I just had a call that went, and I quote, "Word freezes when I start it."

Then he said that it actually wasn't when he started it but when he opened a particular document.

Then he said that it actually wasn't when he opened a particular document, but when he opened all documents.

Then he said that it actually wasn't when he opened all documents, but rather when he did Save As on a certain document.

Then he said that it actually wasn't when he did Save As on a certain document, but when he did Save As on all documents.

Then he said it wasn't happening anymore.

That sure was a fun call.
