My God, what a rude tech.

I got a call a week ago about a password reset on a system we didn't have any documentation on. So I put the ticket into the queue I thought was closest to who'd be handling these.

Turns out my guess was wrong, but that group told me to direct the ticket to a particular other group.

So I did.

Big. Mistake.

I didn't know that the group I'd been told to put the ticket in to was headed up by one Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire.

Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire is apparently having a very bad day. She decided that she would call me up and yell at me for sapping her group's metrics.

But since I was on a call I could not pick up the phone.

Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire then had an opportunity to leave me a polite voicemail requesting I close the ticket and tell the client to contact local people for the reset.

But she decided she was too important to do this.

She called in to the helpdesk and got ahold of another tech, whom she forced to update the ticket with several lies.

Among them:

Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire said she's called me before and yelled at me about similar tickets. Not true; I have never had a ticket on this issue before.

Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire said I had assigned the ticket erroneously to her queue. Not true; her group supports this application.

Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire said I had assigned the ticket to her queue multiple times. Not true; I only assigned it there after having been instructed to do so.

I just had to email my coordinator to explain to her that Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire may be contacting her about me, and to keep in mind that Champion Überbitch Extraordinaire is a fucking liar.
