After a year of relative peace, we now have two new sets of downstairs neighbors. One prefers blasting techno music. But the techno itself is not repetitive enough for them. They choose ONE techno song and put THAT on repeat.

Our direct downstairs neighbors set up their surround sound system this past weekend. It got so loud that Will went downstairs to ask them to turn it down. They refused, saying that they were TESTING the system. This implies that they intend to play music and watch TV at the volumes that they were testing.

Last night they decided that they would play a video game at 11 PM. With the surround sound. Will again asked them politely to turn it down and they said they would, but they did not.

We have filed two noise complaints against each set of neighbors so far.

I fucking hate people. What on earth makes them think that this is acceptable behavior?
