Last Friday night, we went to see Seven Nations at the former Sapphire Supper Club (now called the Social, in keeping with the theme of renaming everything to something generic, stupid, and nondescriptive). I almost missed the show! I hadn't seen 7N in two years and had been checking their website obsessively for quite some time looking for a concert. But it had been so long since they'd been in town that I'd forgotten to check in awhile. Luckily, just in time, I found the show.

It was great. Lots of old standbys and great new stuff, of course. As seems to often happen, I was directly behind Kirk's wife, so he was looking in my direction often. :D That's OK by me. At least my celebrity crushes are on cute people with lots of talent, rather than on, say, Ashton Kutcher.

I just wish I could walk by the illustrious Mr. McLeod (Kirk McLeod of the Clan McLeod!) without blushing. *snicker* Never happen.

Anyway, what a great band! So much energy. I like to see people who look like they're having fun onstage.
