So check this out.

I am going to get written up at work.

For taking excessive sick time.

I had taken 43 hours in 2003 at the end of November. Not too bad; since I work 9 hour days, that's less than five days worth.

But.

Somehow I managed to use over 20 hours of sick time in just December, even though I was only out one day.

Nobody can really explain to me how I did this, but apparently "numbers don't lie," and so I will be written up for using over 63 hours of sick time in a year.
