In high school, I had a friend I had a crush on. It turned out he liked my little sister better.

I used to give him calculus lessons and play Hearts with him at lunchtime.

One time, during a game, he handed me the Ace of Hearts and said, "That's your card."

It's very telling that I'm not the Queen of Hearts, you know.
