I had a good interview with another technical recruiter today. He was very nice and it turns out he too is from Chicago, so we had a good chat about that.

I apologized to him for not returning his call sooner. "There's been a lot going on," I explained. "My great-grandmother died and a whole lot of other stuff..."

He smiled. "Aaah, it's OK. Just don't let it happen again."

"Well, no," I replied. "I don't have any more great-grandmothers."
