So last week, on Buffy, Anya and Xander didn't get married. Am I disappointed? A bit. Surprised? No.

For some reason, in the stories I read or the movies I watch, I'm always finding tales of women getting left at the altar. I've never known anyone that happened to but I've always had this sinking feeling that should anyone ever actually get around to asking me to marry them, the same thing would happen to me.
