Well, I feel better. I just wrote scathing letters to my old apartment's management company, and to the Better Business Bureau. Maybe I'll get my credit restored and my money back after all. It's really sad when you get punished for abiding by the lease agreement and by the letter of the law, but this state is definitely set up to be pro-landlord--they can say anything they want about you and get away with it. I was lucky to get half the deposit I was owed at my second-previous apartment, and my previous one has put a hit out on my credit for non-payment of a $739 debt when, in fact, they owe me several hundred dollars in rent deposit.
Anyway, something a little more cheerful, lyrics from a movie I re-watched recently.
Is that you? Looks like you've changed your ways again Is that you now? It's funny how I can't remember Well, I knew you better than that At least I thought I knew you then But what I know now It's not always a happy ending
Hey, here comes that rainy day again But hey, look at me, I don't feel like crying Hey, here comes that rainy day again But hey, look at me, I don't feel like crying
Who said love is a game? And who said love can be gambled away?
Is this me now? Looks like I've changed my ways again Is this me now? Funny how you can't remember Well, you know me better than that At least you thought you knew me then But what you know now It's not always a happy ending
Yeah but hey, here comes that rainy day again And hey, look at me, I don't feel like crying And hey, here comes that rainy day again Hey, look at me, I don't feel like crying
I don't feel like crying, no I don't feel like it And hey, look at me, I don't feel like crying, no
